A clean dashboard should start with an understood problem.
What a diagnostic trouble-code reset means
DTC stands for diagnostic trouble code. Mobile Auto Diagnostics offers supported code-reading and code-clearing functions, with vehicle compatibility confirmed before booking.
Clearing stored information is not the same as fixing the reason it appeared. A warning can return when the underlying condition remains. We do not guarantee that any warning can be cleared or that a cleared light will stay off.
Warning lights and service reminders are different requests
A check-engine warning, a suspension message and a scheduled-service reminder are not interchangeable. Tell us exactly which light or message is displayed so we can check the correct function for your car.
Supported maintenance resets can be discussed after the relevant maintenance has been completed. Advanced adaptations, coding, software updates and control-module programming are separate procedures and are not included simply because a vehicle supports code reading.
When to ask about a reset
A useful starting point is a recent repair followed by a remaining warning, or completed maintenance followed by a service reminder. Share what work was performed and whether the original symptoms remain.
We focus on supported diagnostic and reset work—not hiding an unresolved fault or promising an inspection outcome. Send your vehicle details and ZIP code to confirm the appointment’s scope and price.
We do not disable safety systems or offer code clearing as a way to conceal a problem. Vehicle condition, completed repairs and function availability determine whether a reset is appropriate.
